Full Cheek Snaffle, Copper Rollers

A classic training bit for clear steering and a relaxed mouth. This full cheek snaffle has a double-jointed, curved mouthpiece with copper rollers, made from 304 grade stainless steel. The full cheeks gently guide the side of the face for easier turning, while the copper rollers encourage chewing and a soft, steady contact.

Safety tip

Use with bit keepers (fulmer loops) on your bridle. They hold the cheeks upright so they can't catch on anything.

How to measure

1. Place a piece of string in your horse's mouth where the bit sits.
2. Mark both sides at the corners of the lips.
3. Measure between the marks. That's your bit size.

The bit should sit snug against the cheeks without pinching. Need a different size? We make our own bits, so custom sizes are available.

Care

Rinse with clean water after every ride and dry well. The copper may darken over time; this is natural and normal.
